About the Role

Lexington Advisory Group is seeking a passionate, analytical, and forward-thinking Advisor with experience in ESG methodologies to join our growing team. In this role, you will be a trusted partner to our clients, guiding them through the complex and evolving landscape of sustainability and corporate responsibility. You will leverage your deep subject matter expertise to develop and implement bespoke ESG strategies that mitigate risk, unlock value, and create a lasting positive impact. 
 

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Advisory: Develop and execute tailored ESG strategies for a diverse portfolio of clients, from materiality assessments and goal-setting to program implementation and reporting. 
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a primary advisor to clients in your area of specialty (e.g., climate risk, sustainable agriculture, health equity), providing deep insights and forward-looking guidance. 
  • Framework & Reporting: Lead clients through ESG reporting and disclosure processes using leading frameworks such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, and CDP. 
  • Data Analysis & Insights: Analyze complex quantitative and qualitative data related to environmental metrics (GHG emissions, water, waste), social indicators, and governance policies to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. 
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Design and facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions to inform ESG strategy and build consensus around key initiatives. 
  • Thought Leadership: Stay ahead of emerging ESG trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure clients receive innovative and effective advice. 
  • Client Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high-quality deliverables and exceptional service that drives client success.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Finance, Public Policy, or a related field. 
  • 5+ years of professional experience in ESG consulting, corporate sustainability, impact investing, or a related field. 
  • Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following sectors: Energy (renewables, transition), Climate Change (carbon accounting, climate risk analysis), Agriculture/AgroTech, Education/EdTech, or Health/HealthTech. 
  • In-depth knowledge of major ESG frameworks and standards is essential. 
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with an ability to turn data into compelling insights. 
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to advise senior-level executives. 
  • Proven project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives. 
  • A collaborative spirit and a passion for creating a more sustainable and equitable world.
